DISNEY MUSIC, DISNEY MAGIC, DISNEY ANIMATION 
The Erie Playhouse will sparkle with Disney magic in the New Year with its now traditional New Year’s Gala concert December 31 at 7:30pm and, new this year, a repeat performance on New Year’s Day, January 1 at 2pm. This year the New Year’s Gala concert features the magical music of Walt Disney in Around the World with Disney. This is a brand new offering from the Disney Library, and the Erie Playhouse is one of the first community theatres to present this magical feast. The concert features what you love best at the Erie Playhouse – spectacular voices and a stage filled with fabulous musicians. Under the direction of Richard Davis and Patrick Rose, songs and musical selections from many Disney movies and musicals will fill the theatre. Magic will abound and audiences are guaranteed a glorious concert they will love. In addition to the full orchestra and chorus, visual effects and video footage featuring animation and production stills from the Disney vault will delight audience members of all ages throughout the entire concert. Selections from the Disney musical library include The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Aladdin, Hercules, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Tarzan, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Rescuers Down Under and as a special treat Pirates of the Caribbean. The 100+ members of the cast and orchestra include the best of the best at the Erie Playhouse. Around the World with Disney at the Erie Playhouse….Erie’s first choice for New Year’s celebration!
